Hello,

After what has felt like four storms back-to-back here in Cornwall, the sun is finally starting to come out—and it really feels like spring is on its way.

In the middle of this change of season, we’ve been reflecting on how faithful God has been in every area of life and ministry. From practical needs to spiritual growth, we’ve seen again and again that we are not doing this journey alone. God is providing, leading, and building His work among us in ways we could not have planned.

🚗 More Miracles of God

As you know from our last newsletter, our base car was written off due to a car accident. We really needed God to provide in a supernatural way, and once again we have been blown away by His faithfulness and provision.

Through people around us responding so generously and quickly, God moved again, and we were able to receive a new car within a few days of sharing the need and beginning fundraising.

We are so thankful to God for His provision, and for the body of Christ who responded so practically and willingly to a ministry need.

This has become a clear picture for us of walking in partnership with God and His people, where practical needs in ministry become opportunities for generosity and participation in what God is doing.

💛 A Testimony from Ella

Another beautiful testimony has been seeing Ella flourishing.

She recently shared about being at a youth camp with the church last year, and feeling a nudge from the Holy Spirit to pray for a girl. She approached her and asked if her back was hurting. The girl said yes—it had been hurting for seven years. Ella asked if she could pray, and as she prayed, the girl's pain disappeared.

What moved us most was not only seeing God bring healing, but the impact on Ella herself. She came back so excited, and it made God feel real and tangible to her in that moment.

For us, it has been a prayer that our girls would encounter God personally—not just through us, but in their own relationship with Him.

The miracle for us is not only healing in someone else’s life, but also seeing God faithfully answering prayers for our children, revealing Himself as alive, present, and active in their everyday lives.

🌍 Taking a Youth Group to Ecuador

This summer, as a family, we will be taking a youth group from a church in Canada on outreach to Ecuador.

We are very excited for what God has ahead, and we would deeply value your prayers—for wisdom, provision, safety, and for lives to be transformed through this mission.

We have been working closely with the youth leader from Canada and a friend of Wendy’s in Ecuador, who oversees a charity in Quito supporting churches and communities in practical ways.

Together, we feel called to help mobilise the church into short-term missions that strengthen long-term work on the ground. Having experienced both sides, we know how powerful short-term teams can be in bringing refreshment, encouragement, and renewed strength to those serving long-term.

This year, we will be going to Macas, in the jungle region of Ecuador, to serve the Shuar tribal community. We will be doing construction, children’s Bible studies, and workshops depending on the skills within the team.

​Did you know that alongside Spanish, Ecuador has two other recognized languages, Kichwa and Shuar. There are also about 20 more indigenous languages spoken in the country.

🤝 Why This Matters

Every part of this story—from Cornwall to Ecuador—is only possible because of partnership.

Whether through prayer, encouragement, or financial support, we see again and again that the great commission is something we carry together.

When needs arise—whether transport, housing, or mission trips—we don’t see them as obstacles, but as invitations for people to be part of what God is doing.

We are currently fundraising specifically to cover any additional costs we have in leading this outreach. Our goal is £3000.
